Early Morning Musings Part II – In This Twilight

pouring in
this twilight
faster now
tearing through the
cracks in
my skin
a silent
matter

I’d always wondered
what it might feel like
bursting from the
inside
out
into a million
tiny pieces
a handful
of confetti
thrown into the
wind

it doesn’t matter now
the forgotten birthdays
the breaths
the silk
of you
we will remain
behind broken glass
still frames
stained walls
somewhere
we don’t know
anymore
